Shift will be Friday through Sunday or Saturday through Monday, 7 AM - 7 PM.

Job Description

The Travel RN will be working in the Operating Room and will require charge nurse experience. The unit accommodates a total of 11 operating rooms and has a staff of 53, including a charge nurse and a technician on the night shift. The nurse will handle general OR surgeries, including Neuro/Spine, CVT, Ortho, GYN, and Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room as needed.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Act as a charge nurse and manage patient care during surgical procedures.
• Utilize EMR system (Meditech) for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Charge nurse experience is mandatory.
• Trauma Level II experience is preferred.
