Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
3 shifts per week; must work 2 weekends (4 shifts) in a 4-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. The ideal candidate will provide attentive care to patients and their families, ensuring they are included in their care plan. You will utilize various medical equipment and documentation systems while collaborating with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a focus on compassion and attention.
• Conduct bedside shift reports to foster communication and trust with patients and families.
• Utilize appropriate medical equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, and EKG machines.
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system.
• Multitask and prioritize care effectively in a high-paced environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Ability to start IVs, perform basic wound care, and manage surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
