Job Description

The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a robust critical care background. The unit features a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and is equipped with advanced medical technology for comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters and recognize changes in patient conditions.
• Manage ventilators, arterial and central lines, and chest tubes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for comprehensive patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience, preferably in adult ICU, CVICU, or Neuro ICU.
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial line placement, and chest tube management.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS certification required.
