Shift: 2:45 PM - 3:15 AM
Every other weekend required. Scheduling must meet the needs of the department.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a teamwork mentality, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Level II trauma center.
• Participate in patient education and ensure an understanding of care plans.
• Monitor patients' conditions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
• Coach and give real-time feedback to team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications required before starting date.
• Experience working in a high-volume emergency department (100,000 visits/year) preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly in all areas of the ED and a commitment to teamwork.
