Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Cardiac Cath/IR Lab Nurse with EPIC experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires expertise in procedural sedation and various clinical procedures, with a focus on delivering exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies.
• Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients throughout the process.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding procedures and care.
• Participate in call rotation, covering 7-12 days of call within a 6-week scheduling period.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath or interventional radiology lab.
• Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required.
• Experience with procedural sedation, gastro studies, urinary, pulmonary, and vascular procedures.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
