Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, or until all cases are completed. Night Shift: On Call.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Technician will be responsible for performing various cardiovascular procedures, working collaboratively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. The unit comprises 13 beds and a dedicated staff of 30, ensuring optimal patient care and handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), peripheral interventions, structural heart procedures, and electrophysiology (EP) studies.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural data using Meditech and Mac Lab systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Prior cath lab experience and ability to function independently in high-pressure situations.
