Job Description

The Cardiothoracic Surgical Technologist will work in a Level II Trauma Center, assisting in surgical procedures for cardiovascular and thoracic cases. The role demands a quick learner, as the individual will float between cardiothoracic and general operating rooms as required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in for surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, and others.
• Assist with flexible endoscope reprocessing.
• Float to general OR as necessary.
• Participate in weekend call shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and NBSTSA is required.
• Washington state registration is necessary.
