Job Description

The MRI Tech produces diagnostic MRI scans, assists the radiologist and referring physicians in MRI procedures, and ensures patient care while representing the purpose of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI scans.
• Assist with MRI procedures as directed by radiologists.
• Provide patient care while maintaining comfort and safety.
• Maintain proficiency in MRI scanner operation and computer systems.
• Respond to department needs, including after hours standby and callback time.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required.
• Current AART certification required; preference for certification in MRI, R.T., R.M.R.I.T.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
