Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. This position involves working in a high-paced and high-acuity environment, dealing with various patient populations. The facility is fully equipped with 20 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 1:4, surging to 1:5 in high-demand situations.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess and plan patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health care, treatment plans, and preventive measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Experience with Peripheral IV, Stroke, SEPSIS, and STEMI protocols is a plus.
