Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotation on weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our MSICU unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to MSICU patients.
• Perform crucial procedures including chest tubes, tracheostomies, and central line placements.
• Utilize Meditech for charting and documentation.
• Monitor patient health and advocate for patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Participate in unit educational and quality improvement activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (Temporary License will not be accepted).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
