4x12-Hour Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg RN to join our dynamic team on a 34-bed medicine unit managing acute medical-surgical patients. This role will involve providing comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a high standard of care with a focus on teamwork and patient-centered approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs and interventions.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of MedSurg nursing experience.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact state accepted.
• Certifications required: BCLS, NIH, and ACLS (American Heart Association).
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
