Medical Surgical Nurse - 7p-7a Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule period.

Job Description

Join a 14-bed medical-surgical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, including medication administration, patient monitoring, and the use of specialized medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Adjust specialized medical equipment and interpret recorded measurements.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
