Travel RN - PCU - Night Shift

Job Description

Join a fast-paced and challenging cardiac unit at a center for excellence. Our PCU unit provides high-acuity care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and treatment. This position requires a highly skilled RN with a strong background in cardiac and PCU experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and laboratory results.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube placements and pacer wire removals.
• Manage cardiac drips and other complex medications.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN Licensure in the state of practice.
• ACLS certification is mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience in PCU or similar cardiac unit.
• Experience with medication drips such as heparin, diltiazem, amiodarone, and nitroglycerin is required.
