Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical department. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to patients in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
• Assist with various procedures and help in the preparation of diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EHR (Electric Health Record).
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, with at least 1 travel assignment completed.
• Current certifications in NIH, ACLS, and BLS.
• Must be capable of starting IVs, inserting Foley catheters, and performing EKGs.
• Experience with heparin drips is preferred.
