Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires a night shift of 12 hours, 3 times a week.

Job Description

The Neuro ICU/IMCU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in the neuro-intensive care and step-down units. This role will include floating between the ICU and IMCU as necessary, necessitating strong neuro experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions in the neuro ICU and IMCU.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Communicating effectively with healthcare team members and families.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU/IMCU.
• Nursing license verification through Nursys.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Skills checklist, references, and work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
