Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CV-OR) Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cardiovascular surgery and demonstrate proficiency in scrub duties across various surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Assist during surgeries, including those related to cardiac robotics, LVAD, and heart transplant.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Document surgical procedures and maintain equipment in compliance with protocols.
• Provide support across general, orthopedics, neuro, vascular, trauma, and robotics cases as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CV-OR within the last 3 years.
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience in the past 3 years.
• Recent travel experience (minimum 1 year).
• Must be certified with NCCT-TS-C or NBSTSA-CST.
• Proficient in scrub duties for CV and other specialties.
• Flu/COVID vaccine required, with acceptance of medical/religious declinations.
