Day shift; 3x12's, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.

Job Description

The Scrub Tech will primarily assist in the Cardiac Operating Room (CVOR), providing support during surgical procedures. The position requires strong experience in various surgical techniques and an ability to handle high-acuity cases in a busy academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within the CVOR.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform relevant duties as assigned, including patient preparation and equipment setup.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrub Tech, preferably in a CVOR setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with cardiovascular surgical procedures such as Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, and valve replacements is a plus.
