7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care, exemplify strong critical thinking skills, and possess in-depth knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in the CVICU.
• Utilize hemodynamic monitoring systems, including swans and art lines.
• Manage ventilator settings and patient comfort.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Document patient care and clinical events accurately in Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Active TX RN License (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Experience with IABP and CRRT preferred.
• Must be willing to float as needed per facility policy.
