Med-Surgical Registered Nurse - Nights

This position is available in a healthcare facility in the United States.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, with a patient ratio of 1:5.

Job Description

As a Med-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans. You will provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Additionally, you will develop systems to provide care to a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and diagnoses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards.
• Adapt care systems to accommodate varying patient populations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months of Med-Surgical nursing experience required.
• Current nursing license in good standing.
• No history of disciplinary action.
