Schedule

12-hour evening shifts, working 3 days one week and 4 days the next, including every other weekend and holiday as required.

Job Description

Join a dynamic Emergency Medicine Unit where you will provide quality care in a 6-bed ER environment. The unit serves patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, addressing a wide range of emergency diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, and manage patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Perform unit-specific procedures including IV therapy, lab draws, respiratory treatments, and EKGs.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize the EPIC-ASAP documentation system for patient records and medication management via Pyxis.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an emergency setting.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be completed prior to start.
• EPIC experience within the last 2 years is mandatory.
• Preferred certifications include CEN, ENPC, CPEN, and ABLS.
