Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse with a focus on charge capabilities and pediatric experience. The successful candidate will work in a busy 64-bed Emergency Department, exposed to a variety of patient diagnoses and specialty equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Floating to different areas within the department as required.
• Utilize specialty equipment, including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
• Provide care to a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric exposure.
• Current RN Licensure in New York, verified via NURSYS report.
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Drivers’ license with an address matching demographics.
• Skills checklist matching specialty required.
• 2 recent references from ED Charge/Manager RNs.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
