Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Unit

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM, working 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) on a per diem basis. Preference will be given to candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February. This position is expected to start on January 17th and will continue for 26 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active nursing license verification.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
• Personal Health History including COVID-19 Vaccine, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and Varicella.
• Completion of a TB Test and physical health statement.
• Driver's License/State ID for identification verification.
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies and Skills Checklists; drug screening required.
