Job Description

We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for a flexible unit that serves both stepdown and med-surg patients, equipped to provide care for a diverse medical population. As a nurse in this role, you will handle 6 patients on the med-surg floor or 3 in stepdown, depending on the unit's needs. This unit will be fully operational by the first quarter of 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across med-surg and stepdown units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, executing nursing interventions as needed.
• Titrate drips under physician orders including heparin, insulin, and pain management medications.
• Collaborate with charge RNs and House Supervisors to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience in handling 3 patients in stepdown or 6 in med-surg environments.
