Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care to patients in a locked unit setting. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage various psychiatric conditions, demonstrating proficiency in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to adult patients with behavioral health issues.
• Utilize behavior management techniques and implement treatment plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses effectively.
• Conduct routine assessments and vital sign checks.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Engage in crisis intervention and use de-escalation protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant field.
• Current BLS certification required; CPI or MAB certification preferred.
• Oklahoma or compact nursing license in good standing required at the time of submission.
• Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.
