Job Description

Join our healthcare team as a Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN) in a dynamic unit specializing in Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular surgical patients. You will be responsible for providing excellent patient care to a diverse patient population. This position calls for a highly organized individual who can adapt quickly to the ever-changing needs of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care for cardio-thoracic surgical patients.
• Administer cardiac drips, including dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo.
• Perform procedures such as pericardiocentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertion.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment, including IV pumps, telemetry monitors, and high flow nasal cannulas.
• Ensure adherence to safety and patient care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in cardio-thoracic post-operative care is a must.
• Familiarity with external pacemakers is preferred.
