Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist is a professional Licensed California Radiologic Technologist who performs a variety of duties in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, fractures, and medical abnormalities on patients/residents per physician orders. This role requires proficiency in performing imaging examinations across all modalities while adhering to federal and state regulations related to Diagnostic Imaging services and Critical Access hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist with minimal supervision.
• Operate imaging equipment proficiently in radiology and CT modalities.
• Position patients for optimal imaging results.
• Ensure quality images are consistently produced.
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and files for all modalities.
• Participate in CQI monitoring as needed.
• Assist patients/residents and coworkers in an efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively and adjust to changing priorities.
• Implement safety measures for patients based on individual assessments.
• Monitor and address equipment safety and functionality issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program with an Associate of Science Degree.
• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist Licensure (CRT).
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred.
• Two years of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.
• Experience in at least two imaging modalities required.
• BLS Certification required.
