Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Step Down/ICU Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a 121-bed facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing patients who are transitioning out of intensive care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and provide nursing care to those in step down or ICU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification (ARC or AHA only)
• ACLS certification (ARC or AHA only)
• A minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in Step Down or ICU settings
• TN nursing license

Patient Ratio

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.
