Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Med/Surg nursing with experience in caring for post-operative orthopedic patients. You will work in a unit with 27 beds, providing quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood transfusions and maintain IV and central lines.
• Provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Monitor vital signs using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Basic Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Experience with post-operative orthopedic patients is highly preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred but not required.
