12-hour night shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a local CT/X-Ray Technician responsible for positioning patients and adjusting immobilization devices to obtain optimal views as requested by physicians. The ideal candidate will be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures and operating both stationary and mobile radiographic equipment in various settings, including the operating room and emergency room. Adherence to radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for both patients and staff is essential.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices as needed.
• Complete routine diagnostic procedures and optimize exposure factors (time and distance).
• Operate film processing equipment and mobile radiographic equipment.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Organize and prioritize daily workflow effectively.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of current CT-X-Ray Technician experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm.
• Experience with all age groups.
• Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License or equivalent.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Active ARRT certification.
