Contract RN - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Shift: Night shift, 19:00 to 07:00, rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery unit is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team on a night shift basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care during labor and delivery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vital signs.
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including C-sections and SVDs.
• Perform assessments and document patient care accurately.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Competency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and C-Section circulation.
