Nights, 12 hours, from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, 36 hours per week. Possible consideration for 48-hour weeks.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for performing cardio-pulmonary evaluations, respiratory care, life support, and educating patients, families, and the public. The RRT works with both inpatients and outpatients of all ages experiencing deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, following established protocols or physician prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care duties in all areas of the hospital.
• Conduct cardio-pulmonary evaluations and provide necessary therapy and education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NYS License as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC RRT certification.
• Completion of an Associate's Degree in an Accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Labor and Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation experience is required.
• Critical care proficiency.
