X-Ray Technologist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8-hour night shifts from 11 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will be expected to perform radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures in various settings including the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Department (ED), inpatient units, and performing portable X-rays. The candidate should be comfortable working with both pediatric and neonatal patients and must be proficient in evaluating images for technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Evaluate images for technical quality.
• Provide x-ray services to various departments as needed.
• Work with students and conduct competency check-offs as required.
• Float to different departments as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a level 1 trauma center or 2-3 years at a large bed level 2 trauma facility.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification required.
• Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT approved radiologic technology program.
