Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in couplet care and be experienced in labor and delivery settings. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for the care and management of patients undergoing labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients, including VBACs and patients on laboring magnesium sulfate and insulin.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, epidurals, and postpartum tubal ligations.
• Conduct triage assessments and early labor evaluations.
• Perform procedures such as cerclage removal and circumcisions.
• Engage in bedside shift reporting every shift, ensuring continuity of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Labor and Delivery experience is a must.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required.
• BLS, NRP, Stable, and Awhonn certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with couplet care and circulating in the OR is preferred.
