Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care on our 2 West unit. The unit typically accommodates 8 patients but may flex up to 12 based on overall hospital census.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for medical/surgical patients
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient care planning
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with care team members
• Utilize standard nursing skills including IV insertion and medication administration

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Must have at least 1 year of acute med/surg experience within the last year
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
• Preferred: 2+ years of acute med/surg experience or background in ortho/neuro-surgery
