Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be part of a dedicated team providing care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and safety during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a Medical Surgical setting
• Assess and monitor patient health and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid nursing license to practice in Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Healthcare Provider level certification (HWC)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) certification
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Preferred: 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
