Schedule

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM. Every 3rd weekend and two Mondays and Fridays per 4-week scheduling period are required.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced nurse for the Surgical Specialty Unit. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of post-operative care and demonstrate proficiency in medical-surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage ostomy care, including irrigation and NGT placement.
• Perform Foley catheter placement and maintenance.
• Oversee central line management, JP drains, and wound management.
• Administer IV starts, blood transfusions, and nutritional supplementation such as TPN and G/J tubes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Med-surg experience.
• Advanced skills in understanding post-operative care required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
