ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Schedule

3x12 Hour shifts: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, weekdays, every other weekend.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients in the ICU.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in patient care decision-making.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or compact state license.
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Preferred skills: Conscious sedation, telemetry, ventilator management, and blood product administration.
