Emergency Department RN - Night Shift

3x12 Hour Night Shifts (19:30 - 08:00); every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Emergency Department RN will provide critical care for patients with various acute conditions, including chest pain, stroke, sepsis, and cardiac arrest, in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and utilize EPIC charting systems to maintain patient records and provide evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
• Manage emergency situations, including trauma cases
• Conduct patient assessments and documentation via EPIC charting

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in an Emergency Department, with trauma level II experience
• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact License
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, TNCC
• Ability to float within the hospital as needed
