Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide care in adult critical care settings. The position requires proficiency in a variety of respiratory therapy techniques and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments such as albuterol, Atrovent, and Flovent.
• Perform pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care.
• Utilize high flow nasal cannulas and trach collar oxygen therapy.
• Troubleshoot high pressure alarms and wean patients from mechanical ventilation.
• Float to other units as needed while ensuring qualified task performance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy with a Trauma Level I background.
• Active RRT certification and required certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• 1 year of experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
