Schedule

Mid 3x12-Hour shift from 15:00 to 03:00, with every third weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working with a diverse patient population, including trauma cases. This position involves floating to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a variety of emergency conditions, including trauma and critical care.
• Monitor patient status and execute interventions as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• Must be willing to care for COVID patients.
