Physical Therapist - Full Time, Day Shift

Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegating and directing therapy services, designing functional treatment programs, and serving as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of patients and develop treatment plans focused on discharge goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address discharge barriers, including equipment trialing and family training.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions efficiently.
• Document all medical records accurately and in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in student training programs and provide evaluations as necessary.
• Maintain professional licensure and pursue professional development opportunities.
• Engage in patient and professional advocacy activities within the community.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active state license in Florida.
• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• Prior experience in acute care and inpatient rehab settings.
• Proficient in EPIC (EMR).
