ICU Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The successful candidate will manage a diverse patient population including Med/Surg, PCU, and ICU patients. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to established standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical specialty, with at least 2 years of RN experience in general.
• Current PA or MSL Compact Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
