Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Nights - 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse for a travel position in a dynamic ICU setting. The nurse will be required to float between MS, SD, and ED as needed, and will have a patient ratio of 2:1 in a unit with 21 beds. This position requires competency in managing critical patients, including ventilator and vasoactive drip management, tracheostomy care, and neuro assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality critical care to patients in an ICU environment.
• Assess and manage complex clinical conditions, including strokes and STEMIs.
• Administer medications, including lytics and vasoactive drugs as necessary.
• Ensure proper documentation and patient management in Cerner EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience, ideally in an ICU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Tennessee or multistate nursing license is mandatory.
• Experience with critical patient assessment and advanced life support.
