Job Description

Join a 250-bed academic community hospital known for its commitment to making communities healthier. This facility offers a variety of services including comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour emergency department services, and specialized care in areas such as cardiac rehabilitation and advanced wound healing. The medical surgical unit accommodates a diverse patient population across all ages and is staffed with a professional nursing team dedicated to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the medical surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document health status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Assist with procedures and educate patients regarding their conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical surgical setting preferred; 2+ years is desirable.
