Night Shift Registered Nurse Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-hour night shifts (20:00 - 08:29) with the option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend and holidays are required as scheduled. Floating to sister units and lower acuity is necessary.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess robust clinical skills, ability to handle emergencies, and a commitment to patient advocacy. Candidates must be comfortable with floating within the hospital and have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes
• Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
• Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and infection control standards

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; previous charge experience preferred
• Active MD or Compact Nursing License
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with charting systems (Epic preferred)
• Travel nursing experience necessary
