Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for our night shift. The role involves caring for patients admitted from the Emergency Department who meet admission criteria. You will be required to have a strong understanding of telemetry and dysrhythmia management.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, managing dysrhythmias effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and more.
• Participate in annual continuing education and maintain required certifications.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of nursing experience, with previous charge experience preferred.
• Current Maryland or Compact nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; Prophecy Relias Basic EKG preferred.
• Telemetry experience with the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential.
