Schedule

Nights - 12 Hour Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM. 36 and 48 hours available per week, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Tele unit, which has a total of 37 beds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and be willing to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Tele unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system.
• Participate in charge nurse duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience is required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York Registered Nurse license.
• Current NIH Stroke certification and AHA BLS certification.
