Job Description

The Emergency Department Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficient critical thinking skills while managing a high volume of patients with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Assess and triage patients based on their needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• BSN required.
• Travel experience preferred (completed at least one contract assignment).
• Active NJ License or Compact License.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
