Varied shifts including weekdays and weekends. Call requirements may include 1-2 times per week in 8-hour increments.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role involves working with a diverse range of surgical specialties and requires experience in trauma settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care and ensure optimal outcomes during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure all aspects of patient care are met.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in surgical nursing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in operating room settings, with trauma experience preferred.
• Charge experience and robotic experience are a plus.
