Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) who possesses a minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU, as well as ICU experience. The successful candidate will be expected to float between multiple hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the PCU setting.
• Utilize Epic for charting and patient management.
• Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Manage ventilated patients, including BiPAP and CPAP care.
• Perform central line and arterial line care/management.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
• Ensure compliance with safety and isolation precautions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and ICU experience.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certification required at the time of submission.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Smoke-free: All travelers must be nicotine-free. A negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine is required.
• Must have familiarity with cardiac drips and Epic experience (Level 3 or 4).
